Past Accomplishment

Since its establishment, Pant Film Production has devoted much of its time and energy in and around the social and political issues of Nepal encouraging people to know there rights and duties. Pant Film Production has directed its focus towards the making of educational entertainment projects from its initial phase of production and has also involved itself in the unpaid assistant for the welfare of the society.

The following is the list of some of the popular projects in the past years.

DOCUMENTARIES

ISA (International School Awards) – 2015

The British Council International School Award (ISA) is a bench marking scheme that accredits schools as having an outstanding level of support for: a. Nurturing global citizenship in young people, b. Enriching teaching and learning. PFP filmed a sixteen minutes documentary highlighting the methodologies, activities carried out and also the impact of ISA project following teachers and students of eight different schools from Doti, Dhading, Tansen, Kaski, Kathmandu and Dhangadi districts.

PFP filmed a seven minute documentary highlighting the methodologies, activities carried out and also the impact of ISA project following teachers and students of eight different schools from Kaski, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur districts.

ET:TE+ (English for Teaching:Teaching for English) – 2013 to 2014

English for Teaching: Teaching for English plus (ET:TE +) is a British Council’s teacher training project to support the development of communicative English language teaching in Primary schools in Nepal. The British Council, in association with partners including the Nepal English Language Teachers Association (NELTA) Global Action Nepal (GAN) implemented the ET:TE + project in Chitwan (NELTA) and Lamjung (GAN). Objective of this assignment was to closely capture the behavior, skills and perception changes of the teachers and students involved in ET:TE +, and to produce:

A one hour film documentary following approximately 5 teachers and 5 students for broadcast on national television in high definition film.
A one hour radio documentary following approximately 5 teachers and 5 students for broadcast on national radio.
Both documentaries were to be entertainment driven, A five minute promotional/advocacy film highlighted the benefits of ET:TE +.

AutismCare Nepal -2014
Documentary for the awareness of Autism in Nepal.
Orchid Conservation- 2014
Documentary funded by MSFP for the conservation and awareness of medicinal orchids in Nepal.
ET:TE+ (English for Teaching:Teaching for English) – 2013 to 2014
To promote a communicative approach to language teaching, the British Council, in association with partners including the Nepal English Language Teachers Association (NELTA) Global Action Nepal (GAN), and NCED, initiated a large-scale ETTE (English for Teaching, Teaching for English) project in Centra and Western Nepal.
WASH Documentary – 2012
Documentary based on water sanitation and hygiene. A Project conducted by our Creative Director Mr. Ravi Khanal. This project was accomplished in benefit for USAID and SEBAC Nepal.
Documentary on Food Security Project – 2012
Documentary based on Food Security Project carried out in Achham District of Nepal. This project was accomplished in benefit for SEBAC Nepal.
Rain Water Harvesting/ Bio Gas Promotion/ Benefits of Organic Manure – 2011
Documentary based on environmental sanitation and hygiene promotion. This project was accomplished in benefit for ENPHO.
HERITAGES – 2010
Documentary based on cultural heritages of Nepal.
Underestimated Challenge HIV/AIDS – 2009
Documentary made in association with Shree Maruni Film Production, Maiti Nepal and Nepal Plus.
